Carbon Neutral
It is a priority at In2print to reduce our impact on the environment, recognising a responsibility to our customers, employees and the wider community that we live in. We have adopted responsible practices that minimise our environmental footprint, while continuing to produce print products of the very highest quality.
We are currently working towards PAS2060 certification – aiming to become completely carbon neutral in our print production. This will enable us to offer carbon neutral printing to our customers, through the use of carbon offsets.
Some of the steps we’ve taken to invest and implement our environmental policy include:
- Using only environmentally friendly, vegetable based inks
- Adopting water based solvents
- Printing on sustainable, renewable and chlorine-free paper wherever possible
- Printing on 100% recycled paper, according to our clients’ needs
- Using 100% chemical-free, plate-to-press process
- Recycling all waste paper and board
- Responsible disposal of waste chemicals and inks
- Laundering press rags
- Organising delivery schedules to reduce our carbon footprint
